The Victoria Floating Boat Show was a huge success! The weather was terrific, the docks were bustling with visitors and prospective buyers, and there was much interest in the two new Riviera 2013 models showcased. Van Isle Marina is very excited to be receiving the new Riviera models in June: the Riviera 5000 Sport Yacht and the 53 Enclosed Flybridge. The winner of the Easter Candy Jar is Kamala!
The actual number was 351 and Kamala guessed 348. The next closest guess was Sean at 357. Thank you to all who participated. There were a total of 79 guesses, 20 of those from guests and 59 from staff.

The Maritime Museum of BC is having its annual Massive Marine Garage Sale Saturday April 21st from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Ogden Point. This is a fundraiser for the Maritime Museum and all proceeds go to support programs at the Museum.
This Massive Marine Garage Sale is for boaters and non-boaters alike. There will be lots to buy from kayaks, boats, dinghies to camping, fishing, wet gear and chinaware, books, and much more.
The Maritime Museum is also looking for donations. This is a great time to clean out your garage, locker, and dock box and donate the items to the Museum.

Salt Spring Island Saturday Market is every Saturday starting in April through to the last Saturday in October from 8:30 am to 4 pm come rain or shine. The market is located ocean side at Centennial Park in the heart of Ganges.
This is an internationally acclaimed arts and crafts market that features some of the best potters, jewelers, fiber artists, woodworkers and fine decorative arts. The farmer vendors have delicious cheeses and organic foods for sale.
