Summer Hours for the Fuel Dock will commence Saturday May 1st, 2010.

Fuel Dock Hours will be: 7:00 am – 8:30pm,  7 days a week throughout the summer months.

Van Isle Marina will support the upcoming 2010 BCYBA Victoria Inner Harbour Boat Show April 29^th – May 2^nd/2010.

Van Isle will have a variety of their new/pre owned Riviera boats and customer pre-owned boats on display.

Mark Dickinson, president of Van Isle Marina, has won the Lifetime Achievement for Business Excellence Award from the Saanich Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.
The award was presented at a dinner for about 200 peninsula business people on Wednesday evening at Butchart Gardens.
This is the fourth year the Chamber has held the Crystal Awards for Business Excellence and each year the marina sponsors a prize for Tourism Excellence which was won this year by the Ocean Discovery Days Planning Group.

Mark Dickinson, president of Van Isle Marina Co. Ltd., is pleased to congratulate the marina’s accounting and payroll administrator, Donna McMillan, for her very successful completion of studies in Payroll Compliance through the Canadian Payroll Association.
Donna, after receiving a 96 percent grade in her final examination, has now been awarded her Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification. This has been the culmination of a three-year studies course which Donna completed while working from home in her after-work-hours.
Certification holders are required to: adhere to a Professional Code of Conduct, maintain professional membership with the CPA, and participate in continuing professional education.
The Canadian Payroll Association is an organization of payroll managers and practitioners in Canada. The organization represents employers’ payroll interests and is an authoritative source of payroll knowledge in the country, and it influences the operational, compliance and technology processes of payroll services bureaus, software providers, Canadian employers, as well as federal and provincial tax authorities.
